Food Dock Introduces: Sunset Sessions | 11th June

11 June 2026

7:00pm - 8:30pm

Join us as we celebrate the Sounds of Summer, with bustling kitchens, clinking glasses and the incredible vocals of rising local talent.

Every Thursday evening, enjoy a ‘Sunset Session’ of live music on the Food Dock Deck.

In partnership with The Music Works, each Thursday we’ll welcome a new local artist. With soulful sets from singer-songwriter Libby, a fusion of R&B, mellow rap and poetic soul from Merce Jade, a blend of indie-folk warmth and alt-rock from Jodie-O and more local talent emerging from the region.

Free to enjoy | 7pm to 8.30pm

// On 11th June we’ll be welcoming Muna Mone //

Based in Gloucestershire, British-Nigerian singer-songwriter Muna Moné has been making her mark on the Gloucester scene. With her impactful style of smooth vocal arrangements, Muna’s brand of empowering R&B is influenced by Afrobeats and soulful jazz elements. Although her sound invites comparisons to Jorja Smith, H.E.R and Summer Walker, Muna Moné is crafting a vibrant artistry that listeners will struggle to resist.

The Music Works is a Gloucestershire-based charity with a bold vision, a world where every young person can access music and unleash their creativity. Specialising in working with young people who face barriers to music and creative careers, the charity meets every young person exactly where they are. Regardless of background, ability, or circumstances, The Music Works provides the specialist studios, career support and pathways young people need to thrive!
